Dalbit Petroleum Kenya has sponsored the construction and equipping of a computer laboratory at St. Anne’s Secondary School in Nairobi. The project is aimed at improving its ICT capacity and will serve at least 50 students per class.
“Our motto is, if we can go out there looking for business and actually get the opportunity to do the business, we should also endeavor to improve the lives of the communities that we work among,” said Dalbit Petroleum Group Managing Director, Margaret Mbaka when she handed over the laboratory.
“It is our considered opinion that through improved Health and education infrastructure we touch the core of livelihood for the needy,” she added.
On her part the School Principal Dr. Beatrice Thiga said the new laboratory would facilitate the teachers in their work.
“We are really happy with this project. Our girls can now link up with the global world through technology,” she said.
The laboratory is the second phase of the partnership between the school and Dalbit Petroleum after an earlier donation of computers.
